Just a small update to let everyone know that I have settled on PHP-Fusion.  This platform incorporates forums, downloads and news updates etc. and best of all it’s FREE, so it’s a case of “Have a crack Nige!!!” and see how it pans out.

Currently I am populating the downloads section with magazine categories and pointing downloads to their respective Mediafire directories. It all seems to be working well but I haven’t populated thousands of images into it either so we’ll wait and see on that one.

When it comes online visitors will not have to register to be able to download magazines just as it was with the WordPress site. If people register they will be able to post comments, use the forums etc. so long time supporters of the site will still have a voice around here.

Anyways, that it!! More of a post to let everyone know I am still alive and working hard on getting the site back up and running. Very soon I may put a link up so people can see how it’s going. Stay tuned …..

Hi everyone,

You might be aware that the site has been experiencing significant problems of late. These issues have prevented me from being able to update the site with information on the latest magazine updates as those updates caused database corruption resulting in the site crashing. Things came to a head yesterday with the admin login page disappearing completely, leaving me unable to administer the site at all.

As a result of these issues I have taken the site down and no updates will occur on WordPress while I work through the process of implementing a new platform to move the site forward.

Expect updates on the situation in the next few weeks.
