I managed to download a bunch of these digital magazines using the Wayback Machine... I don't know if that could be of interest (it's a real hassle to download them. Lots of errors and retries)...
It's about 1GB, 99 files. It shows like there are more available, but I think they were actually not saved.

I have sent Kiwi a near-complete set of these, he has converted a couple of them to remove dead links etc. but up to him if it's worth the time and bother to edit them and put them up here. Would have thought they have a very limited appeal compared to scans of actual magazines.

Had an interesting time trying to figure these out. Basically there are two versions of PlayNation Magazine (similar to the two separate runs of Play magazine).
Playstation Plus magazine (October 95 - April 00) changed into the first iteration of PlayNation (May 00 - November 00). This then changed to The Player Magazine (December 00 - ???). Which then changed back to PlayNation for a second run (October 01 - ???). The last issue I can find is September 02.

I don't get it either, but that's a kiwifruit, not a cucumber. Some sort of NZ reference?

If both eggs had kiwifruit maybe. A spoon would be no use surely. Might need a fork to eat that.
Maybe the other is a poorman orange. That makes them both from NZ since it's a NZ mag. Not that the cover makes any more sense or has anything to do with computers so far as I know.
