Hi! New member here, thanks for having me and for your good work preserving history.

I'm wanting to download a few full sets (PC Format to start with) to OCR and do some research on. I've read the comprehensive list of rules (both of them ;D ) and nothing is mentioned about acceptable download numbers. But I don't know what the server situation is and don't want to cause any problems by being greedy, and wanted to get confirmation before I embark on systematically grabbing every relevant magazine.

Welcome! Don't sweat it fella. I've downloaded several thousand magazines to my local drive now. That's what the server is for!

In reality there are actually monthly bandwidth limits on the seedbox which I keep an eye on as if we exceed them downloads will be no go until the month rolls over.

Best advice is to pace yourself when it comes to downloading. The website has been around for 13 years and isn't going anywhere anytime soon so there's no reason anyone has to download absolutely everything ASAP.

I've been downloading mags at a rate of maybe 10 or 20 a week I think. Didn't want to be downloading too many.

Duly noted! Apologies in advance if I've caused the bandwidth to exceed, I tend to download a lot. :-[

I had wondered this question too. When i'm doing research i generally limit myself to looking at one title at a time.
