Comics Buyer's Guide #1365 is up.  As CBG is quite the oversized newspaper/mag, this scan is significant for what it represents: larger-than-A4 scanning is now possible for anyone with a flatbed scanner and Photoshop.  Well, I suppose it's been possible for a while now, but I only recently realized it.    By scanning a page in multiple pieces (not actually cutting the page, but rather scanning the left/right/top/bottom/etc as separate files), Photoshop can quickly and seamlessly stitch them back together provided there is plenty of overlap on the separate pieces.

So while the scanning process takes significantly longer, oversized mags need no longer be off-limits to anyone without an A3 scanner (provided they own a flatbed scanner and Photoshop.)
