Thank you for the info.
I've written about the discrepancy between the filename and name printed on the cover elsewhere but don't feel like repeating myself. For all practical intents and purposes, though, this IS Game Player's PC Strategy Guide Vol. 02 No. 01 (https://www.oldgamemags.com/forum/index.php?action=downloads)

Thank you Karl! As an aside, I'm loving your Pilko Pump Pants, by the way. Very comfortable. Although having scissors and cutlery rattling around in the pockets is frustrating the missus.

Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War - Official Strategy Guide (https://www.oldgamemags.com/forum/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;id=13645) is now available. I only ever played the 2nd game in this series, but owning strategy guides to games you never owned isn't weird or anything, right? RIGHT??!
Oh! I really loved that game! It had a very unexpected story that went above and beyond what you might expect from a game about war planes.

Love the strategy guides! Thanks for scanning and uploading!
Manhunt was banned in New Zealand when it came out as, IIRC, the censors of the day just did not like the games central theme of brutally killing people. How times change. It's probably considered somewhat tame nowadays.

I'm pretty sure the second manhunt was initially refused classification by the British rating board and is only one of two games that ever had that (Carmageddon being the other). They definitely loved the notoriety.
Manhunt was on the shelves here in aus for nearly a year before it was banned.. still have my copy somewhere. Rockstar didn't even bother submitting Manhunt 2 here for classification lol.
I absolutely despise censorship in all forms of art & media.. except where something is clearly exploitative.
..in fact don't get me started haha.. carry on 👍
Thanks very much for the Red Alert guide.
Sorry for the slow updates. Been really busy with the father-in-law's house painting taking up all my spare time as we prep it for sale.
