Sorry for the delay with new updates. An unexpected hospital stay was to blame!!

Jason submits Vol.05 issue 10 of Australian Commodore and Amiga Review. Brilliant!!

Kiwi

Jason gives us Vol.03 issue 03 of Computer Player. Unfortunately his copy had a badly water damaged front cover and missing rear cover, all three pages of which have been replaced using a Retromags scanned copy of this issue. (Jason's cover is also included at the rear of the mag)

Hope it was nothing too serious and that you/your family member are on the mend!

I definitely need to catch up on some of these mags.

So glad Kiwi has pulled through his ordeal.  Why we're all cursed with these slowly deteriorating fleshbags prone to malfunctioning, I'll never know, but a health scare can hit any of us at any time.  Take care of yourselves, everybody!

Games for Windows #15 is available HERE.

I think you are looking at Game Informer (AUS), the Australian version of this title as indeed we have issues up to 113 for that title. Jason may be able to shed more light on it but I think they stopped producing the local version in favour of shipping the USA version down under instead.

As far as the USA version is concerned we only have what is currently available in the download portal. We only upload scans by our scanning members, none of which currently reside in the USA. That is why UK and Australian/New Zealand magazines are predominantly featured here. We don't have anyone with access to USA mags to scan. Retromags have all issues of this title available via torrent as their USA scanning members have scanned them all.

Jason and gater team up to bring us Your Commodore #58.

Next up from the Oz duo are the January 1990 and April 1990 issues of Commodore Computing International ...

Yep as Kiwi said, these are the Australian editions and did not have as long a run in Australia. Hyper had been the dominant multi format magazine since the early 1900s and competing with it would have been tough. It was launched locally in 2010 and lasted until 2019. Most of it was reprinted from the US edition with some local content, but it was very cheap so sold quite well.

I dont know what number the very last issue was, but one day the local cheap magazine was replaced by a US import at double the price. They made a ham fisted attempt to pretend it was still locally produced (I assume they did a lot of "find and replace") but left a lot of US references in there. This did not go down well with local buyers (including me which is why we have no more than what we have)  and most stopped buying it, so I dont know the exact number beyond the issues we have, but it didnt last for long afterwards.

Retromags have Issues 1-260 of the US Edition available via a torrent, link here:

I once sat down and compared page by page a couple dozen issues of the Aus & US Game Informers, and they were 99% identical - very few changes at all. There were a couple of examples that added something new or removed something, but they seemed rarer.
