Scanning Holographic Covers

Trying to get a good scan of GamesTM Issue 5 is proving a nightmare because of its golden, holographic front page. Anyone had this problem before? Any ideas to overcome it?

Even the publisher Imagine couldn't scan the cover acceptably when they created their digital disc edition. All they came up with was ....

.... although that is better than nothing and unless you somehow photograph the cover it's about as good as it gets methinks.

Ah cheers for that, Think I will just have to use that image as even photographing the cover is an issue.

I remember one of the GamesMaster mags having a mirrored front cover. Impossible to get the same effect through a scan.
