I don't get it either, but that's a kiwifruit, not a cucumber.  Some sort of NZ reference?

If both eggs had kiwifruit maybe. A spoon would be no use surely. Might need a fork to eat that.

Maybe the other is a poorman orange.  That makes them both from NZ since it's a NZ mag.  Not that the cover makes any more sense or has anything to do with computers so far as I know.
