From tomorrow I am holidaying down South again for a week and catching up with family who are holidaying in NZ after coming over from USA. Updates will resume upon my return .....

Have a great holiday mate. Also just realized, isn't it about time we get an 02/24 update thread? :P

Thank you @Nipedley for these! Does somebody know how many issues in total were published from Games World?

This website says 15: https://magazinesfromthepast.fandom.com/wiki/Games_World

I sent Kiwi my massive scan of something non-gaming related. Hopefully it's all right, should be but the amount of pages was out of my comfort zone.

Which is ... interesting, considering you can download issue #20 from here. Retromags also only lists 15 in their database, not sure why there is no information available for issues later than 15.  ???

As the person who created that particular Retromags database, I can tell you that the reason it goes to 15 is because I got that data from the Magazines From the Past site mentioned earlier.  You've got to understand, no one who contributes anything at Retromags is from the UK.  We're all pretty much from America and Canada, so we don't really know anything about UK mags (and as the only contributing member who is a resident of Japan, I created 95% of the Japanese magazine databases). UK peeps gravitate towards OGM since that's where the majority of UK scans appear, but that doesn't help with things like databases and the like since OGM doesn't have any.  So whether it's at Retromags or elsewhere, what we need is people with firsthand knowledge of these magazines contributing information.

Thanks kitsunebi-san, hopefully this didn't get twisted: it wasn't meant as any kind of criticism, I appreciate the efforts from you and all others contributing to the database of Retromags. It was just that I was surprised to see additional issues after #15 pop up and was wondering why that is. Totally get it's difficult to research for UK-based magazines when majority of users coming from other regions of the world. Anyway, maybe we'll find out from someone who knows more than we do regarding Games World.

Worst case scenario you could look on ebay for the next mags to see if they exist.

Family Computer Magazine #9 and Family Computer Magazine #10 are now available.  These two are scans by Hubz, edits by me.

Also available is Games for Windows #4, which is all by me.
