Belated start of a new release thread for February, I got enthused about my upcoming holiday and forgot to create a new thread ...doh!!, with Jason supplying us with another missing Hyper, this time the Sci-Fi Special. Awesome!!

Kiwi

Jason scanned Australian PC Authority #156 which is now available.

Kiwi

Holy heck!! Jason also gives us PC Powerplay #006  :o

Kiwi

Next up from Jason is Sega Megazone #43. This was the first issue under the new name, previous issues simply being called Megazone. Given this information I have combined the content into the Megazone magazine category.

This is great! Now all we need is Issue 232, and we'll have a complete set of Hyper's run. I did hear that Jason did get a copy of that issue to scan in an earlier post. So keep up the good work! 8)

Next out of the blocks are two early issues of Australian PC User from Jason...

Also available is Games for Windows #4, which is all by me.

Put in the January thread by mistake.

Kiwi

I don't know how Hubz managed to acquire these but four early issues of Cashbox International are now available thanks to him. Wow!!  :o

At long last, the full run of Hyper from beginning to end, is available at last. Thanks Jason! Thanks Kiwi! Wonderhoy!

And now we wait patiently to see what happens when people have no more dreams.

Said a neighbor: "Yeah, once that final issue of Hyper hit, it was like he had nothing left to live for.  Just stopped socializing, leaving his home...even stopped eating - just...withered away.  Who knows how long it would have taken to discover the body if the postman hadn't reported the smell.  A man without any hopes and dreams isn't really a man, doncha know.  And it's all that JASON'S fault." ;D

Don't worry, there's still the absent issues of Hyper Cheats and Playguides, and the other poster issues we can continue searching for. I wonder how many issues exist of both?  ;D

Mega thanks Jason! My collection is finally complete. Respect!

Jason

Interestingly, I am scanning some circa 2016 PC & Tech Authority issues at the moment (same publisher as Hyper) , and I've seen advertisements for 2 more Hyper Specials. A VR Special, and an E-Sports special.

Can anyone recall these? There may still be more to find out there.....
