Does anyone have any suggestions for reasonably priced OCR software to convert whole magazines to be searchable?

I have tried (with random Retro Gamer issue):
* LLMWhisperer - Failed to get any text out of for any of the pages (bug?)
* ChatGPT - can do single pages well but not entire magazines
* NAPS2 - Not Another PDF Scanner - Free and fairly fast but makes a lot of mistakes
* Abby Finereader - Annual subscription for $69 - fairly slow but makes less mistakes, free version limited to 100 pages

Thinking of going for the subscription of Abby unless anyone here has found a solution that works really well for them?
Looking to complete my collection, if you have any of the following let me know:
- 3D World: 2-5, 7-9, 24, 38-40, 43-44 (2003), 47-50 (2004) , 52-54
- Computer Arts: 11, 167
- Web Designer: 86-87 (2003), 92 (2004), 94 (2004), 98-100 (2004), 107 (2005-05)

I use ABBYY Finereader 15 also but I use Omnipage Ultimate mostly.  But if I download a PDF magazine and they are not searchable, I normally just use Acrobat Pro to OCR them.  I find Omnipage the fastest and the most accurate as well, just expensive.
