Ring in the new month with Famitsu 1318.  This issue had a couple of 3-page-wide spreads that would have played havok with a PDF reader in joined form, but since all of us here are using more intelligent CBR reader software, there won't be any problems, regardless of whether you use single or double page viewing. :)

Amstrad Computer User issue 18 is now available.

ToyFare #8 is now available.  This is one of the only mags I scan which I actually read. I've also got incentive to scan them because the unusually small print on these is brutal on my old man eyes, so reading the CBR is FAR easier than reading the print mag.

I've done a number of gate folds via Scan To PDF and never had an issue. Not about intelligence in picking CBR or PDF, it's about how you scan it.  ;)

No, it's a problem with how Pdf readers are designed to display documents.  They like to think of every page as equal, so if you have a single page next to a super long page of joined images (like an edited-together tri-fold), a Pdf viewer will display the single and triple page side-by-side when using two-page viewing mode, resulting in a 4-page-wide, difficult to read mess.

CBR viewers are designed with comics in mind where there are a mix of single and spread pages, so when they encounter a spread (be it 2,3,4 or however many pages,) they will display the spread separately, and not attached to any single pages before or after.

Well, you've waited 33 years and your patience has finally paid off - Family Computer Magazine 117 is now (finally) available.  Whew.

*Please remember that this entire mag is read right to left, so set your CBR reader to Japanese/manga mode.

GameNOW issue 08 is now available. Unfortunately my copy was missing the front cover so I used 3rd party scans to complete the issue.

A somewhat roughed up copy of Amstrad Action issue 13 has been scanned and added t the download area.

Amstrad Computer User issue 51 is now available.

Today I've got Famitsu 129 for you.  I wonder if they knew then when they wrote this issue's unassuming 2-page preview of a new arcade release called Street Fighter II just how game-changing it would be for the industry?

Okay that makes sense since I don't join pages of a tri-fold together when I scan especially since my scanner isn't A3.

Just in case anyone misses this I put some bookazines and cheat books up for auction. Maybe someone in the UK wants to buy them to scan?
