thank you for all the scans. i appreciate the time it takes to make these. but i´d really love to see more PSM2s... is anyone beside Gregorick planning to scan them? :) thank you

Hey, I know you asked me a while back but I haven't had time to do any scans up to this week.

I have a stack of magazines on my desk to get finished off in the next few weeks and in amongst them is PSM2 issue 20, 21, 23, 31, 66, 72, 75 and 77. I have a complete collection in a box in the attic so the rest I will get to eventually.

thank you very much, it´s much appreciated! i don´t really wish to rush anyone, understand that life kind of gets in the way ;D any issues up to 35th would be amazing (especially issues 10, 13, 23, 7, 6, 5) :)

i bought issue 11, only to be disappointed that they wasted  not even two full pages on ffx :D tried to scan this one, but i have really old/bad flatbed scanner and these psm2  pages don´t even fit whole, with corners out of focus :( figured nobody wants to see that:)

i´m thinking about buying couple more issues, but maybe i should rather buy a new scanner... i mean, i definitely wouldn´t mind helping out with psm2s and paying for the transport... but i guess it depends on whether you want to keep them or discard them after scanning? anyways, thank you for any and all the scans!

Ok, I shall bump 23 to the top of the pile for you and get to the others in time. I have three magazines currently underway so will be after that probably.

When I first started scanning I used a flatbed for a couple of magazines and they didn't quite fit. I found that I could scan the page twice and use some software that stitched them together and it worked well. So that is an option if you don't want to spend on new hardware. However it takes an agonizingly long time to get a magazine done that way so completely understand if you can't be bothered. This does also depend on debinding the magazine too so if you want to keep them after it's no good.

Like I say, for PSM2 specifically, I do have a load more issues but they are all boxed up from before my last move. I will get to them eventually but cant make any promises on time. Along with PSW it was my go-to magazine through the PS2 era so have a lot of fond memories wrapped up in it.

thanks a lot! :)

i wonder what else magazines are you planning to scan beside psm2? psw maybe?

it´s a nice idea, but with my patience, maybe it´s better to get a new scanner :D

one last question (for the future): i have only seen psm2/3 covers online up to issue 71, so i guess, was there ever dishonored on the cover in 2011 or 2012? or any significant coverage of it?

thank you

Right now my pile consists of PSM2, PSi2, PSW, XBM, Total Playstation, Essential Playstation, Powerstation and Playstation Power. So expect them in next few weeks/months. New scanner arrives on Friday so should speed up these. Then in boxes I have loads to sort through across all platforms and this will no doubt take years.

As for your last question I believe PSM3 Issue 158 had Dishonored on the front cover.

I have sent my GamesMaster scans to Kiwi but no communication yet if he's putting them out. Not sure why he wouldn't at this point. I am still working on a scan non-gaming as well.
