Are Retro Gamer downloads locked?

Hi everyone,
I got a weird error while trying to download some issues of the Retro Gamer magazine:

"You are not allowed to download a file in this category".

Why is that? I can't find anything about Retro Gamer on the generic rules and I have no issues downloading any other issues from different magazines.

Retro Gamer has been archived. It's not available for download as they still sell copies of those issues I believe.

If you haven't been keeping up with the news lately the Internet Archive got sued by the publishers a while ago and have now been forced/required to remove half a million books from their website after being convicted of wholesale copyright theft/infringement.

The English language version of Retro Gamer was also removed along with a lot of Future Publishing content a while ago due to a request by Future because every issue is currently available for purchase. It therefore makes no sense to place this website in their lawyers gunsights by making  any content currently available from the publishers themselves.

We do indeed. We've also added digital back issue access as a perk for subscribers, though as I understand it the full library is only available via iOS - Android users get about 100 issues.

Curious to know are there any other online retailers to order physical copies of Retro Gamer and its specials from than Magazine Direct? Their website is quite slow updating its stock.
