This is crazy and everything about that cover seems rushed and weird (I have never seen that game referred to as just Owen WLS). Can't wait to have a look through the issue.

Yeah, and amusingly all names of staff and reviewers have been stripped from inside, not even a publisher ID or address, nothing. The review index in the middle is copied directly from #31 but with the Competition and Voucher boxes replaced with random stuff - except a couple of times they forgot to change the heading so it still says "COMPETITION - WIN WIN WIN" in the wrong place

Jonathan thinks that the infamous Hugh Gollner bought up the IP in a fire sale and must have got the work files for the unpublished issue, and made this cut-up version of it to flog off for a quick buck. He knew he had done a cut-up of older issues (I guess that was #33??) but had no idea this unseen stuff got out there.

Somehow this seems the most likely but still very odd.

EDIT: I just want to add having looked at the magazine now given the number of pages and recycled material it's possible this is a sample magazine to sell to other publishers to try to get the magazine picked up again.

kitsunebi emailed and let me know about issues with two or three files I uploaded the other day being corrupted. These should now be fixed but by all means PM me or use the report download function on the particular files page if you have any problems with files and I will sort them out.

I had real problems uploading to the seedbox the other day with speeds through the floor (<40kB/s) so I just left the file uploads running then switched to a FTP program on my Mac which seemed to sort the problem.

Clearly they didn't upload properly and I'm unsure at this stage whether the problem is something weird with Mac FTP software or if it was related to the seedbox given the issues experienced with the PC uploads. Hopefully it doesn't happen again.
